How can I get feedback on my CV?
Answer
To help you to develop your CV, we recommend the following steps:
- Use our CV resources, including our step-by-step CV guide to create a good quality university level CV.
- Upload your CV to our Online CV feedback tool (CareerSet) and use the feedback report to further enhance your CV.
- Attend one of our regular term-time CV intro talks.
- You may also find it useful to make use of our regular term-time CV and application writing space sessions. In these sessions, you can work on your CV and ask a careers adviser quick CV questions.
These steps will help you to develop your CV as much as possible. If after taking these steps, you would find it useful to review your CV with a careers adviser (e.g. if you are applying for a live role with a CV), you can do this by:
-
Booking an information and advice appointment (open for bookings 2 working days in advance at 8:00 am).
-
Alternatively, visit 5 Tyndall Avenue during our opening hours. If you have taken the above steps to enhance your CV, you may be able to have an information and advice drop in appointment when you visit (subject to staff availability and demand).
